Emotional Literacy Support Programme
The ELSA programme is led by either Mrs Card or Mrs Brown. They have been tried by Dorset Educational Psychology Service to support children's emotional development.

The ELSAs can support children with a wide range of issues as they go through the school. Some children may stay in touch with their ELSA after the programme has finished to access on going support and encouragement.

First Class Number
This is a programme of lessons led in small groups by either Mrs Hatcher (pictured) or Mrs Barnett. It is a specially designed short sharp intervention to improve maths basic skills.

Learn to Move, Move to Learn
Mrs Brown, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Frost are trained in the Learn to Move, Move to Learn Programme which has been designed by Occupational Therapists. It is designed to develop and improve fine and gross motor skills and can also help improve self esteem.This activity improves core strength and flexibility |
Reading Support
Some children mainly in Key Stage 1 will work on their phonics, reading and spelling skills with Mrs Wetherilt (pictured) or Mrs Mills if the programme continues into year 3.
This is a one to one programme |
there are many multi-sensory resources which Mrs Wetherilt can use with the children. |
